Slender-Horned Gazelle

Slender-Horned Gazelle (Gazella leptoceros -endangered)

Slender Horned GazelleToday, only about 1,000 slender-horned gazelle survive. Uncontrolled hunting for their unique horns, habitat loss and warfare are the primary causes of their decline. Slender-horned gazelles have large ears and good hearing and vision, which help to detect danger. They generally live in groups of 10, although groups as large as 30 gazelles have been observed.
