During April 2010, Revenge Is… will participate in a number of events to celebrate Earth Day.
On April 17, 2010, we will be at “Earth Day on the Promenade” in Santa Monica, CA from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Come visit us and other great eco-friendly vendors to get the latest in eco-style.
The next day, April 18, 2010, we travel south to San Diego to Earth Fair 2010 in Balboa Park, the largest free annual environmental fair in the world. Sponsored by San Diego EarthWorks, the fair is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m..
On April 21, we will be on the runway at the LA Fashion Corner 2010 “Caring with Style” Eco-Friendly Fashion Show at Highlands Hollywood, 6801 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, CA. We will also be selling tees. Come join us for music, fashion and fun. Doors open 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.; fashion show from 10 to 11.
On April 23, we will be selling “earth day” tees at the Sports Club LA at 1835 Sepulveda Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA to celebrate Earth Day with its members and friends.

In an effort to connect third world countries with first world markets, Poverty Not shares profits with communities in developing countries to stimulate economic development, jump-start sustainable micro-businesses, and ultimately empower the powerless.
Proceeds from sales at the Poverty Not Pop-Up Store will not only support the artisans who produced the goods, but additionally, 20% of each sale will benefit the following charities: African Millennium Foundation, Women’s Campaign International, and Human Rights Watch.

Ardmore Ceramics Produced in South Africa, these extravagant and charming ceramics are created by local artisans that use both Zulu legend and the African landscape as their inspiration. Collected by celebrities and featured at Christie’s and Sotheby’s auctions, each piece is a work of art.
Mustardseed and Moonshine A studio of dedicated artists in Cape Town, South Africa creates beautiful ceramic flowers that are both usable and lasting. Each hand-made, delicate flower is meticulously crafted and sold at the world’s top interior stores.
Revenge Is… Dedicated to “Making Activism Fashionable,” Revenge Is… makes apparel and accessories from eco-friendly and sustainable materials. Their line of t-shirts is made of incredibly soft and luxurious fabrics using organic cotton, recycled plastic bottles and bamboo. Their product messages address vital public issues today, raise social awareness, and support charitable organizations.
Mark Leibowitz Photographer Mark Leibowitz is exhibiting photographs from Backstage, a series of images from John Galliano’s 2008 fashion shows. In addition, photos from his time in Mozambique will also be featured in the store, which tell the story of children orphaned by AIDS.
Proceeds of the Poverty Not Pop-Up Store will benefit:
African Millennium Foundation AMF supports innovative solutions in Mozambique, where they are building a sustainable village to promote better socio-economic conditions, proper health-care practices, and provide education to children orphaned by AIDS.
Human Rights Watch Campaign The Human Rights Watch Campaign works to empower the powerless in Los Angeles, helping women gain a voice against sexual assault and rape.
Women’s Campaign International WCI has been successfully implementing programs for women affected by war and national trauma in Afghanistan.
