Tropical rain forests are the most bio-diverse regions on Earth.  Just 2% of the Earth’s land surface, rain forests are home to two-thirds of all of the living species on the planet and provide nearly one-half of all medicinal compounds that we use daily.  Described as the earth’s lungs, the rain forest breathes in vast quantities of carbon dioxide and converts it into clean, breathable air, producing more than 20% of the world’s oxygen.   
 
But the very existence of this important life force is threatened as rain forests are bulldozed down at devastating rates.    Each second an acre of tropical rain forest (the equivalent of two football fields) is destroyed, and almost half of the world’s original 4 billion acres of rain forests is already gone.   This destruction results in 20-25% of the CO2 emitted into the atmosphere to remain there – unchecked by the rain forests’ oxygen production process.  Join us  to working to save the Earth’s rain forests. Wear a Revenge Is… Saving the Earth tee and be a messenger for action.
